Jazz will join the sunset, on Saturdays in July, at Forte do Beliche, in Sagres, for four sunsets, promoted jointly by the Vila do Bispo Chamber and the Algarve Jazz Orchestra.
Beliche Jazz concerts are scheduled for 18:30, for "a different evening", with "good music and a sunset that invites you to stay!".
For the first Saturday, an intimate Duo is scheduled, then, every Saturday, «we keep growing, and growing until the concert on the last Saturday of July, in which we propose the complete formation of the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve, which will be joined by two guests : Ana Rita Inácio, a very talented and versatile national voice, and Kiko Pereira one of the greatest Portuguese crooners», adds the Vila do Bispo Chamber.
This show will be «full of complicities and with a varied repertoire, ranging from Pop, Funk, and even Latin: from Stevie Wonder, to Elvis, or Tom Jobim, this orchestra, conducted by Hugo Alves, proposes an environment that goes way beyond Jazz, in a Concert Beyond The Sunset Colors».
At Forte do Beliche, on the days of the concerts, the exhibition “Jazz on the Move…” can be visited, where a retrospective of the concerts performed by the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve throughout 2018 is presented.
