It's called Festival do Vagaroso and it only promises to serve delicious snails. This weekend, 18th and 19th of May, is, therefore, to enjoy “slowly, slowly” in this event that takes place from 17:00, on both days, at the Polidesportivo de Quelfes.
«The event will feature the most varied confections of snails and an Arts Space with artisans and local sweets», guarantees the organization.
The festival will be animated with music by Luís Correia and Modas c'Sotáqui (on Saturday) and Cante Andarilho and 33LM, on Sunday.
The Parish Council of Quelfes is also committed to an “environmentally friendly event”, by implementing the use of biodegradable plates and reusable cups.
The Festival do Vagaroso is organized by the Parish Council of Quelfes, with the support of the Municipality of Olhão, Fesnima, the Quelfes Ethnographic Group, the Motard da Restauração Group, the Algarve Fuzileiros Delegation and the CNE 1200 Group.
Admission is free.
