This Thursday, May 23, at 19 pm, the Câmara de Lagos will receive and pay homage to the Esperança de Lagos team that was crowned district football champion.
The ceremony takes place in the auditorium of the XXI Century Building Paços do Concelho Building, and is open «to all who wish to share this moment and present their congratulations to Esperança for another milestone in the history of this local club, which is today one of the oldest communities in the Algarve», says the Council of Lagos.
The lacobrigense team, with the victory in the District, rose to the Championship of Portugal.
Moncarapachense, the team that with Esperança de Lagos fought for the climb, will continue, next season, in the district championships.
