Viviane, Anaquim and Melech Mechaya are artists who will animate the third edition of Fusos, a festival that takes place from the 7th to the 9th of June, in Alte, a village in the municipality of Loulé.
This will be an “edition filled with culture, with performances where the various artistic forms intersect and merge to show the Algarve's artistic capacity and bring to the region relevant names and projects, from an artistic point of view,” says the organization.
The opening moment (Friday at 21 pm) will have the Galvana hill as a stage, with a music and light show projected across the hill, visible from across the village.
Real-time illustration with sound design of the village, a live concert from Cork (Ireland) for the restaurants in Alte, an exhibition of spindles built by the children of the Alte Elementary School, musicians playing inside canoes or inside glass houses are just a few examples of what will happen at this festival.
For three days, starting at 14:30 pm, 22 shows are spread across the 12 stages of Alte. Viviane, Anaquim and Melech Mechaya are the names that head each day.
Fusos is a festival inserted in the space and community of a village in the interior of the Algarve. Stages are found to suit the schedule, an old oil mill, abandoned buildings, terraces… each stage has a charisma that enhances the spectacle offered.
This festival is organized by the Fungo Azul Association with the support of the Municipality of Loulé and the Alte Parish Council. All events are free entry.
