Caracol Party comes back to life Jardim da Alameda

The already traditional Caracol Festival takes place from the 23rd to the 26th of May, at Jardim da Alameda, in Faro. 

This initiative of solidarity character, which aims to support the Private Institutions of Social Solidarity of the Union of Parishes of Faro, aims to promote, disseminate and enhance traditional products, cuisine and Mediterranean culture, including gastronomic dishes with the snail, one of the most appreciated delicacies by the Algarve.

However, in addition to the traditional snail, this initiative has musical entertainment, street food, handmade ice cream, crepes, sweets, drinks and plenty, as well as a craft fair.

Admission is free.

The fair will be open from Thursday to Saturday, between 17:00 and 24:00, and on Sunday between 19:00 and 24:00. On the first day there will be a performance by “Néstor e Nuno” and on Friday it will be the turn of “Duo Gerações” to take the stage.

On Saturday, Cristiano Martins will be present on stage at this solidarity party, while the last day will be animated with music by Jorge Miguel.
