Ana Cabecinha takes 5th in the European Marching Cup

Proof was won by Zivile Vaiciukeviciute

Athlete Ana Cabecinha, from Clube Oriental de Pechão, was in 5th place in the women's 20-kilometer race of the European Marching Cup, held this Sunday, in Alutys, Lithuania. 

The walker did the race in 1 hour, 31 minutes and 12 seconds, in what was her best record this year.

The competition was won by Zivile Vaiciukeviciute, athlete from Lithuania.

Edna Barros, also an athlete from the Clube Oriental de Pechão, ended up giving up on the 10 km journey due to health problems.

The Municipality of Olhão has already gone public to congratulate Ana Cabecinha, Paulo Murta, her coach, and Clube Oriental de Pechão for this result achieved.
