A goal by Ruster, in the 86th minute, guaranteed the draw of Portimonense against Vitória de Setúbal (1-1), this Friday, at Estádio do Bonfim. The Algarve team created more opportunities, but again failed in the submission, and won a “suffered” point in the fight for maintenance.
Portimonense started better and created the first threat in the 10th minute. After Paulinho's left corner, Jackson Martínez jumped higher than everyone else, headed from top to bottom, but after the ball hit the ground, he gained a lot of height and went over the bar.
The Algarvians were again close to the goal, again following a set-piece, in the 19th minute. Tabata took a free-kick into the far post, Lucas headed in the direction of the goal, but Jhonder avoided the celebration with a cut in above the line.
At 26′, new opportunity for Portimonense. Tabata started from the left, crossed tensely, but Wellington, at first, made the ball pass inches from Makharidze's post.
