GDC Machados and SRBU Parchalense will compete in the final of the Algarve Cup for women's futsal this Saturday, at 18:00, at the Dr. Eduardo Mansinho Municipal Pavilion, in Tavira.
In his preview of the game, Vítor Pimentel, coach of the Sociedade Recreativa Boa-União Parchalense team, considered that «the finals are for winning» and promised to give «the maximum to win against the three-time champion of the Algarve, despite having some casualties in the squad'.
César Martins, coach of Grupo Desportivo e Cultural dos Machados, anticipated “a good game, in front of a well-oriented team with good players. It will be a final of great value, as were all the other qualifiers so far».
On the way to the final on Saturday, Parchalense, a team from the municipality of Lagoa, eliminated JS Campinense (5-1), Silves FC (6-5) and CF “Os Bonjoanenses” (4-1). Machados, in the municipality of São de Alportel, left UD Castromarinense (2-5) and SC Farense (0-2) along the way.
