During the weekend, the delicacies of Serra de Monchique attracted thousands of people to the village, for the Feira dos Enchidos. At an event where sausages, hams or arbutus are kings, there was also musical entertainment and even prepared a "Cataplay".
For this Sunday, a concert by Sara Tavares was scheduled, which was canceled at the last minute, and on social networks, both the Municipality of Monchique and the artist said that it had been for reasons beyond their responsibility. It ended up being the Algarvian Edmundo replacing the winner of the Festival da Canção in 1994.
On Saturday, it was the fado singer Carminho who took the stage of the event, in a show that, according to the Sul Informação, was affected by the noise in the room, with the artist even having to ask for silence.
