Albufeira Library invites children to read and play after hours

In addition to stories, there will be a treasure hunt and "lots of surprises"

Children aged 6 to 10 will have the opportunity to spend “A night at Lidia Jorge Library” and celebrate the International Children's Book Day between stories and games, on the 6th of April, a Saturday, between 20:30 and 23:00.

This will be, according to the City Council of Albufeira, "a night between books and stories", which includes a treasure hunt, reading of children's stories and many surprises.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and must bring comfortable clothing and a blanket.

Interested parties can register at the Lídia Jorge Municipal Library until April 1st. More information can be obtained by calling 289 599 507 or by email [email protected].

The initiative “A Night at the Library” is promoted by the Intermunicipal Network of Libraries of the Algarve (BIBAL), as part of the commemorations of the International Children's Book Day, which is celebrated on 2 April.
