ANAC explains why planes fly over Albufeira

Authority has received complaints about planes flying over Albufeira

The National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) will promote a clarification session at the headquarters of the Algarve Tourism Region, in Faro, on April 1st, at 14 pm, following «several complaints filed by various citizens regarding the alleged overflight of aircraft in the Albufeira area».

According to ANAC, the session will be attended by technicians from this Authority, from ANA – Aeroportos and NAV Portugal and aims to “clarify those interested in the operation of aircraft taking off and landing from the Airport of Faro».

ANAC's Board of Directors “invites all interested citizens to participate in this clarification session, in order to listen to and clarify the community regarding this matter”.
