Vilamoura Marina was awarded the title of International Marina of the Year 2018/2019, by the Yacht Harbor Association Ltd, in the “International Marinas” category.
According to Vilamoura World, «this award reinforces the success of a marina that, in 2015, 2016 and 2017, won the International Title “Marina of Distinction”, which was also awarded by The Yatch Harbor Association».
Voting is carried out exclusively by vessel owners who visit marinas classified as having 5 anchors, the maximum category in the classification system attributed to marinas.

In the last four decades, the Marina's offer has evolved and improved a lot, now having 825 berths, a fully equipped and functional shipyard and a professional sailing training centre. Vilamoura Marina also hosts several prestigious international events», adds Vilamoura World.
