The assignment of the second phase of Passeio das Dunas, in Quarteira, is celebrated this Monday, February 18, at 10:00 am.
The idea is to «continue the Walk, re-qualifying the section that connects it to the Marina, from the first beach support (from east to west) to the Quarteira stream», says the Câmara de Loulé.
Marina Poente and the entire area adjacent to the Hotel Tivoli Marina will be the first intervention areas.
With this project, «the objective is to promote the improvement of urban quality as well as to dignify the entire area, changing the character of the area, promoting a currently vacant site to a reclassified public space, which is a promoter of flows between the various urban areas and the beaches», explains the municipality.
This intervention will have an execution period of 420 days and a cost of around 2.6 million euros.
