The Festa das Chouriças, in honor of São Luís, takes place on the 24th of February, from 14:30 pm, in Tôr, a village in the municipality of Loulé.
The mass, presided over by Father Carlos de Matos, begins at 14:30 pm and is followed by a procession, with an image of St. Louis, at 15:30 pm.
At 16 pm the always lively auction of sausages, wine and bread begins. The party ends at 00 pm with a dance by Rita Melo.
Also in Querença, another village in the municipality of Loulé, there is a tradition of holding the Festa das Chouriças which, this year, took place on 20 January.
