The project Riding to Meteor will be performing in an unlikely setting, on Sunday, February 17th, at 11:00 am. To transform one of the NOS cinema rooms, at Forum Algarve, in Faro, on a multidimensional stage is the challenge.
In order to take advantage of a component that he has been exploring in his shows, Riding to Meteor decided to bring out its cinematic nuances by taking them to a bigger screen.
The Algarve band explains that «the creation of this concert is linked to the initiative “Riding a Meteor Meets Meteora”, which was born in November last year, combined with a campaign of through crowdfunding».
The main objective of this event at Cinema NOS at Forum Algarve is «to make the project known and raise funds to carry out the concert the band dreams of: a concert in Meteora, in one of the most iconic Greek regions».
The cost for this fundraising concert has a minimum contribution of 7 euros, the same amount associated with a movie ticket, however the spectator can decide the amount they want to contribute above the minimum amount.
Ticket sales start date will be announced shortly. Tickets can be purchased at the Forum Algarve information desk and online at the website of Epopeia Records, publisher of Riding to Meteor.
For those who contributed to the through crowdfunding “Riding a Meteor Meets Meteora”, there is still another novelty: you will have free access to the show.
This is an initiative that has the support of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, of the Municipality of Faro, Forum Algarve and Cinemas NOS.
