Loulé invites lovers to a romantic dinner on the stage of the Cine-Teatro

Dinner on the stage of the Cine-Teatro Louletano, to the sound of lyrical singing and piano, with interpretations by the baritone Rui Baeta and the pianist Marco Cerejo. This is an "unpublished proposal" which you can enjoy on the 14th of February, at 20:00, to celebrate Valentine's Day. 

It will be with the serenade of the opera D. Giovanni, the greatest seducer in the history of Opera and Western Literature, that Rui Baeta starts this recital, called “Love, C'est L'Amour. According to the interpreter, "on St. Valentine's Day, there are no misunderstandings or heartbreaks."

«The chosen repertoire includes songs by Mozart, Schubert, Bernstein, Glenn Miller, Cole Porter and Elton John. Songs that reveal platonic passions or hide ardent attractions but that inspire everyone to love», says Câmara de Loulé.

Rui Baeta is from Faro and it was in this city that he began his musical studies at the Algarve Regional Conservatory and later at the Lisbon National Conservatory, at the Lisbon Superior School of Music, at the Mozarteum Internationale Sommerakademie and at the Académie Francis Poulenc.

He was semi-finalist at the Canal Mezzo Festival and International Singing Contest (2008) and 1st Prize at the RDP Young Musicians Contest (1999) 'Chamber Music Class / Higher Level' with pianist Paulo Pacheco.

He has performed in concerts and recitals in the United States of America, France, Switzerland, Spain, Malta and Cape Verde, and develops his artistic activity in Portugal in venues such as the Gulbenkian Grand Auditorium, the Centro Cultural de Belém, the Europarque, Teatro Rivoli, Coliseu do Porto, Teatro da Trindade, São Luiz Teatro Municipal, National Theater São João, National Theater D. Maria II and National Theater of São Carlos, in which he sings accompanied by orchestras such as Capela Real , Ensemble Bach, Soloists from Lisbon, Cascais and Oeiras, Nacional do Porto, Sinfónica Portuguesa, Metropolitana de Lisboa, Clássica do Sul, Das Beiras, Camerata de Lyon, Camerata do Concertgebouw and from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in the vast solo repertoire of recital, Oratory and Opera, from Bach to Berio.

Passionate about the pedagogy of vocal technique for singing and speaking, he is frequently invited to be the vocal director of musical, theatrical, music-theatrical and television shows.
