80 trainees from the University of Free Time (UTL) of Castro Marim participated, last Wednesday, January 30th, in a workshop entitled “Being Happy in the Golden Age”, at the Municipal Library.
"About 80 UTL trainees had the opportunity to participate in this activity, which, in a practical way, promoted the development of a happier and more rewarding lifestyle, taking into account the benefits and characteristics of the elderly," he says. the Chamber of Castro Marim.
«The workshop made known, in a simple, fun and very relaxed way, the contribution of Positive Psychology to a happier life. Participants had the opportunity to learn new ideas and train skills in a storytelling inspiring, full of moments of sharing and group dynamics», he adds.
Other actions of this kind will be promoted, continually seeking to broaden the training range of trainees and maximum interaction with the community, as well as taking advantage of the UTL as a platform to promote the potential of the territory and heritage of Castro-Armain.
The Castro Marim Free Time University is a project developed in collaboration with Associação Odiana, in an estimated investment of around 30 thousand euros.
