Frankie Chavez closes “Acordes na Aldeia” in Santo Estêvão

This cycle is organized by the Casa do Povo of Santo Estêvão

Frankie Chavez closes the cycle “Acordes na Aldeia” on March 9, at 22 pm, at the Casa do Povo of Santo Estêvão, in Tavira.

The musician, singer and composer made his debut in 2010 with the EP Optimus Discos. Family Tree (2011), Heart & Spine (2014) and Double or Nothing (2017) followed.

Frankie began «playing alone, just voice and guitar, no net. Then with a drummer, then in trio and now, for this last album, Double or Nothing, in quartet».

For the musician, «playing with a band makes us distance ourselves a little from the audience», so he confesses that «he appreciates the freedom that solitude on stage gives him, the possibility of feeling loose, of giving in to the impulse of the moment in improvisation. that transform each of the presentations into unique and unrepeatable moments».

This cycle is organized by the Casa do Povo of Santo Estêvão, which has the support of the Municipality of Tavira, the Parish Council of Luz and Santo Estêvão, the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and Quinta Soria Moria.
