The project “Sonhamos e … we laugh”, from room 2 of the Vila do Bispo Kindergarten, won the national financial education award “Todos Contam”.
The “Todos Contam” competition distinguishes the best financial education projects to be implemented in Portuguese schools in the 2018/2019 school year and is promoted by the National Council of Financial Supervisors – Banco de Portugal, the Securities Market Commission and the Insurance Supervisory Authority and Pension Funds – and by the Ministry of Education, through the Directorate-General for Education and the National Agency for Qualification and Vocational Education.
The award was given to the children of Vila-Bispensa and Lina Nascimento, their kindergarten teacher, in a ceremony that took place today, in the Auditorium of the Cultural Center of Vila do Bispo.
During the session, students from the winning room had the opportunity to present the circus “Sonhamos e Rimos” with the clown Salsinha.
In addition to Luís Máximo dos Santos, deputy governor of Banco de Portugal, who delivered the award, the session was attended by Adelino Soares, president of the Vila do Bispo Council, Lúcia Leitão, president of the Coordination Committee of the National Plan for Financial Education, Ilda Figueiredo, representative of the Directorate-General for Education, and Joaquim Azevedo, director of the EB2,3 School Grouping of S. Vicente de Vila do Bispo.
