The music and image show “Moda Vestra” has a presentation scheduled for next Saturday, January 12th, at 21 pm, at the Albufeira Municipal Auditorium.

This unique and experimental project was born from a artistic commission by Rede Azul – Algarve Theater Network.

The aim was to “stimulate and enhance contemporary creation with Algarve protagonists and their circulation throughout the region. To give substance to the initiative, the collective of artists, natives of the Algarve, João Frade (accordionist), Sickonce (electronic music producer) and Ana Perfeito (visual artist) got together to, from the region's traditional musical sounds and others universes, exploring the ambiguity between the traditional, the past, the current time and future visions of the Algarve», explains the Câmara de Albufeira.

According to the promoters, “Moda Vestra” «is a surprising and innovative show that opens up new creative horizons, with presentations scheduled until March 2019 in a logic of cultural circulation and decentralization».

Tickets for the show, which is supported by 365Algarve, cost 5 euros and are on sale at the Consumer Information Center in Albufeira, at Lídia Jorge Municipal Library, on weekdays (9:00-13:00 and 14:00-16:00) and at the Municipal Auditorium, on the day of the show, from 19:30 to 21:15 .
