IEFP promotes the dissemination of the Inclusive Employer Entity Brand

The application period for employers is running until February 28

The Employment and Vocational Training Institute (IEFP) promotes this Tuesday, the 22nd, at 14 pm, a session of dissemination of the Inclusive Employer Entity Brand, which will take place at the headquarters of the Algarve Mental Health Association (ASMAL), in the Zone Industry of Loulé.

The Inclusive Employer Entity Brand aims to recognize and distinguish open and inclusive management practices developed by employers in relation to people with disabilities, thus contributing to the fulfillment of one of the priorities of the European Strategy for Disability 2020, accessibility.

The Brand will distinguish the benchmark practices in four domains: Recruitment, professional development and progression; Maintaining and resuming employment; Accessibilities; Service and relationship with the community).

It will be awarded by a jury, made up of representatives of business associations, trade unions, social economy organizations, organizations of entities that support people with disabilities and public administration.

The application period for employers is running until February 28, so this session will be «an opportunity for Employers who have participated in the effort to integrate people with disabilities into the labor market, to clarify practical aspects of the application process for recognition as an Inclusive Employer Entity, as well as to increase the adhesion of employers and the community in general to the employment of people with disabilities”, explains the IEFP.
