ASAE provides training on Food Safety at the Library of Faro

The training, free of charge, is aimed at operators in the butchers, restaurants and consumers

The Food and Economic Safety Authority (ASAE) and the Municipality of Faro will promote, on January 22, at 14:30 pm, in the Auditorium of the Municipal Library of Faro, a clarification session organized by the ASAE on food safety, aimed at the butchers sector.

During the training, the legislation inherent to the sector will be addressed, focusing on the hygienic and technical conditions of sale and distribution of meat, as well as the labeling of meat, the mandatory implementation of the food safety system based on the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Control of Critical Points).

The ASAE General Deputy Inspector and the Chief Inspector of the Southern Regional Unit/Operational Unit XII- will be present at this session.Faro, which will clarify the doubts of local economic agents.
