Students from the São Lourenço Basic School, in Almancil, visited, throughout this week (December 3rd to 7th), they visited Infraquinta's facilities, in an environmental education action of the municipal company of the municipality of Loulé.
Infraquinta explains, in a press release, that "the aim was to make the youngest aware, in a playful and educational way, of good practices and provide direct contact with the reality of a Management Entity in the Water sector."
For the municipal company, environmental education is «fundamental so that the youngest, from an early age, acquire knowledge, become aware and can participate and contribute to environmental sustainability».
This week's visit focused on the theme “The urban water cycle”, which included a trip to the Quinta do Lago water reservoir and the possibility for students to carry out water analyses.
For 2019, more visits are scheduled, with the same students, emphasizing other areas of Infraquinta's competence.
