Learning how to sew an electrical circuit on a piece of fabric, create magnetic toys or use a special paint for a painting are proposed by the Centro Ciência Viva de Tavira for the Christmas holidays.
The initiatives take place from the 18th to the 21st of December and from the 26th to the 28th of the same month, always from 14:30 pm to 17:00 pm, and are aimed at children aged 6 to 12 years.
The first activity of this Christmas holiday program is “Sewing Electric Circuits in fabric”, which is followed, on December 19, with “Automatos: toys that move”.
On the 21st of December, it's time to “Paint with the Sun”. The initiative will teach how to use a special paint, which changes color in the presence of the sun, to make a picture.
Then, on the 26th, there will be “Magnetic Toys”, an initiative followed by “Robotics”, where a robot will be built with a Lego WeDo 2.0 kit.
This program ends with the activity “An incredible world at your feet”, in which it will be possible to discover that living beings inhabit the ground we walk on.
Participation in each activity costs 7 euros. Those who participate in four of the initiatives will pay 25 euros, while those who decide to go to seven activities will pay 35 euros.
