The Rallye Casinos do Algarve will hit the road on the 16th and 17th of November. The race, which was once again chosen by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) as the stage for the final of the European Rally Trophy, will pass through the municipalities of Monchique, Lagoa, Portimão, Lagos.
In addition to the final of the European Rally Trophy, which brings together the best classifieds of the European regional rally trophies, the race will also stage the last round of the Portuguese Rally Championship, of the Peugeot Rally Cup Iberica, and will also receive the caravan of the South Championship of Rally
According to the Clube Automóvel do Algarve, which organizes the race, «in view of previous editions and to create a different challenge for the drivers who visit us, the rally has a new design in the layout of the qualifying races in the Monchique mountains, with sections of Alferce and Fóia, covered twice, taking place on the 16th».
For the following day, two stops are scheduled for Nave Redonda, Monchique and Chilrão.
The organization also highlights the nighttime super-special, drawn on the streets of Lagos, on the 16th at night.
Another novelty for this year is the relocation of the closed and assistance parks to the Pavilhão do Arade, with the municipality of Lagoa also receiving the shakedown, to be held in the Porches area, and the ceremonial departure, which will take place next to the Municipal Auditorium .
The Rally Operational Center and the final podium will be at the Hotel Algarve Casino, in Praia da Rocha.
Rallye Casinos do Algarve is organized by the Clube Automóvel do Algarve, under the aegis of the FIA and the Portuguese Federation of Automobile and Karting, with the support of Solverde – Casinos do Algarve and the municipalities of Portimão, Lagoa, Monchique and Lagos.
