Portimonense confirms that there was a "small altercation" between Rodiney Sampaio, president of SAD, and player Rafael Barbosa, last Saturday, 29 September, after the end of the match between the Algarve and Benfica, counting for the Revelation League of football.
In a statement, the SAD of Portimonense says that this altercation was "promptly remedied and resolved". right is that Rafael Barbosa, a young player loaned by Sporting to the Portimão team, has already filed a criminal complaint on the PSP against Rodiney Sampaio.
According to the newspaper Record, at the end of the meeting, in which Rafael Barbosa participated, the president of SAD do Portimonense will have head-butted the young player, following a discussion.
Sporting, the club that holds Rafael Barbosa's pass, has already reacted and promised to "unconditionally support" its player.
In an official statement, the Alvalade club classifies the situation as "of the greatest seriousness" and demanded "a public apology" from the alleged aggressor.
The SAD of Portimonense says that it "maintains and will continue" to have a "true and reciprocal relationship with Sporting".
