Docapesca is going to buy ten new dock ladders for the Fishing Port of Baleeira, in Sagres. The company launched a public contracting procedure for the acquisition of this equipment, with the objective of restoring «the conditions of embarkation and disembarkation of the crew of vessels operating on the port's south jetty».
The new stairs, which will replace the existing ones, will cost 31200 euros.
“This improvement in the safety conditions of the south jetty is the result of a commitment made between Docapesca, the professional fishermen of this port and their association representatives last August”, explains the entity.
«The identification of the places for the installation of the new stairs and the model to adopt them were also defined in close articulation with these professionals», concludes Docapesca.
