Algarve goes to Expo Abreu to invite tourists to visit the region in low season

Showing that the Algarve is not a tourist destination only in summer is the objective of the presence of the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) in the 5th edition of Expo Abreu, which takes place this weekend, 27th and 28th of October, in pavilion 2 of Lisbon International Fair (FIL). 

In joint presence with the cultural program “365 Algarve”, the 18 square meter stand of the RTA will have available to visitors a selection of proposals for those who are planning holidays for this winter, «intending to be a showcase of the diversity of the tourist offer of the region. region".

During the event, RTA will promote various moments of entertainment and promote the region's attributes, in order to publicize the “365Algarve” program and the various possibilities for visiting the region in low season.

«Celebrate the New Year's Eve on a beach bathed by the Atlantic, enjoy nature on a hike through the mountains, pedal along unique trails to where the land ends, in Sagres, observe unique species of birds, enjoy the cuisine and wines of the south of the country, celebrate with the revelers of Loulé at Carnival, enjoying the Easter holidays as a family or simply resting in one of the best national hotels: these are some of the proposals that the destination has to offer during the low season, a sign that there is much more to discover in the Algarve besides the beaches internationally awarded,” says RTA.

Entry to Expo Abreu is free. The fair takes place next weekend, from 11:00 to 19:00 (Saturday) and from 12:00 to 19:00 (Sunday), at FIL, and simultaneously in Abreu stores across the country.
