A night photography workshop, with José Soudo, followed by a tour, will take place on the 15th of September, in São Bartolomeu de Messines (Silves).
To make known the fundamentals and guide the practice of night photography are the objectives of this workshop, which will take place at the Sociedade de Instrução e Recreio Messinense, from 16:30 pm.
At the end of the workshop there will be a night photography tour, in which participants will have the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge acquired in training.
Each participant must bring with them a camera or mobile phone, and, if possible, a flash and a tripod.
The activity ends with a dinner (optional) and socializing at the Society. Participants in the workshop and outing will be invited to exhibit their best photography, in an exhibition that will later be organized by Sociedade de Instrução e Recreio Messinense, at its headquarters.

Registration for participation in the workshop and tour has a cost of 7 euros (for members) and 10 euros (for non-members). Dinner costs 10 euros, with payments being made on the day of the activity.
José Soudo has been a professor of Photography and History of Photography in the Photography course at the Department of Photography at Ar.Co – Center for Art and Visual Communication, since 1983.
He was a professor at the CSF – Superior Photography Course at the Superior School of Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar and co-founder of this course.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Center for Studies in Photography of Golegã – CEFGA, since 2008, as well as a member of the Study Committee for the restoration of Casa-Relvas.
He is also a credited trainer, on the trainers pool of Cenjor – Protocol Center for Training Professional Journalists, in training courses for professional journalists, in the field of Photography and Photojournalism, since 1992.
As a photographer, he has been represented in various official and private collections in Portugal and abroad and also through books and other publications.
