Giving tips to generate energy savings in Public Administration buildings is the objective of an information session taking place this Tuesday, 11 September, at the José Silveste Amphitheater of the Superior Institute of Engineering of the University of Algarve, on the Penha Campus.
The idea is to support the «adoption of measures to improve the use of energy in its facilities and thus make them more energy efficient, making it possible to reduce the energy bill and contribute to improving the comfort of buildings».
Specialists in energy efficiency will support local energy managers, «giving them knowledge and providing them with information aimed at raising their awareness of the need to implement measures and good practices in energy efficiency to generate energy savings in Administration buildings Public», says the organization.
During the session, a kit with technical information and awareness-raising material to support the implementation of good practices will be distributed.
This session, which has the support of AREAL – Algarve Energy Agency and the University of Algarve, is part of the awareness and information campaign for Energy Efficiency in Central Public Administration, promoted by ADENE – Energy Agency , and co-financed by the Sustainability and Efficient Use of Resources Operational Program (POSEUR).
