Burglar of houses in Vale de Lobo caught in Olhão

The GNR recovered computers, machines, tablets and other material that had been taken from homes in the Vale do Lobo area

The GNR seized material in Olhão that had been stolen in the Vale de Lobo area, in Almancil, in the municipality of Loulé. Following the operation, a 46-year-old man suspected of having committed the robberies was identified and constituted as a defendant.

Last Thursday, the GNR, supported by the PSP, carried out a search warrant at the suspect's house, in Olhão, where it found “five cameras, two laptops, two Macbooks, two tablets, one iPad, 12 pens -drive, ten memory cards, three speakers, some headphones, three bicycles, five pairs of sunglasses, a watch, a clarinet, two cufflinks and several house keys».

According to the GNR, it is assumed that the objects recovered come from other robberies that took place in the same area. The material has an estimated value of 10 thousand euros.

The man was constituted an accused and was subject to a term of identity and residence. The case continues to be investigated by the Loulé section of the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Faro.
