The two Continente Bom Dia stores that opened in the Algarve this year, in Olhão and Vila Real de Santo António, created 98 jobs.
These two new stores are part of a set of seven that were opened, since the beginning of the year, across the country and that represented the creation of about 370 new jobs.
The new spaces “are emerging in response to the international trend of consumption and in line with the new needs of the consumer, who is currently more demanding and increasingly favors small and medium-sized stores. In this way, customers can make their day-to-day purchases, faster and more conveniently, very close to their homes», explains the Sonae group.
These stores have a sales area, on average, between 1000 and 1500m2 and, according to the company, "there is still a strong commitment to fresh produce from local producers".
