The US economics website Business Insider gathered a list of 100 beaches from all over the world that everyone should visit “at least once in their life” and two of them are in Portugal, more precisely in the Algarve.
Caneiros beach and Benagil cave, next to the beach of the same name, both on the coast of the municipality of Lagoa, are considered by the site as a “must visit”.
This is a distinction for Lagoa that complements the recent distinctions of Praia de Carvoeiro as the Best Beach in Europe 2018 (by the European Best Destination) and Praia da Marinha, by the television station CNN, as one of the 52 Best Beaches in the World 2018.
O Business Insider crossed data from some travel specialists, such as British Airways, Lonely Planet or Airbnb, to bring together this set of must-see beaches spread all over the world.
