Ana Cabecinha was always in the front group, came to third place, and finished the race in 1h29m49s, 3m13s from the winner, the Spanish Maria Pérez.

The women's competition took place simultaneously with the men's competition, for safety reasons. The race was scheduled for 9:05 am in Berlin, but started only at 10:55 am due to a strong smell of gas in the refueling area.
