The last night at the Mercado Fora d'Horas de Silves takes place on 8 August, from 19 pm to midnight, and is dedicated to the seed.
The popular imagination, with stories and legends about seeds, will set the tone for the decoration of the market. Currently, agricultural biodiversity will be addressed by the associations Inloco and Colher for seed.
The atmosphere of the Municipal Market of Silves is transformed into a night in which traditional and contemporary values are mixed.
Markets are community spaces and, in this event, created by the community, «there is the opportunity to purchase local products and experience a different night around the local gastronomy and culture», says the organization.
The “Mercado Fora d'Horas” is organized by the Parish Council of Silves, with the support of the City Council of Silves.
