A forum around the Traditional Sequeiro Orchard is scheduled for next Saturday, June 9th, from 17 pm, at Castelo de Tavira, in a citizen initiative that is part of the Sérgio Mestre Festival 2018.

Moderated by Gonçalo Duarte Gomes, the forum includes the presentation to the community, and opening for subscription, of the Três Delícias Manifesto, «a document of claim for a whole, complete, solidary and happy Algarve, rediscovered in contemporaneity and recognizable in its unique matrix of Mediterranean Atlanticism, a resilient, perennial Algarve capable of facing the challenges of the future».

The exhibition “Traditional Upland Orchard” will also be open to the public, conceived and kindly provided by the Municipality of Loulé, which celebrates and makes known the trees that characterize the upland orchard, their fruits, their conservation, uses and historical importance in the region's economy.

Participation in the forum is open to the public, with «invited and invited all citizens, Algarvians of gene or heart, residents, passers-by or visitors, sympathizers or dissenters, for an exercise of discussion and civic participation».

«The Algarve.
The most perfect region of mainland Portugal, in which the biophysical reality is such a
present, which imposed itself on the administrative delimitation, making the limits of one and of
other.
The Algarve.
Here and nowhere else. Unrepeatable, inimitable, unique.
But forgetting. What did it. What does it. What's it made of. From yourself.
To celebrate and remember the identity of the Algarve, and seek its expression in the present and,
above all, in the future, a forum will be held around the Traditional Sequeiro Orchard»
