David Fonseca will premiere the new album “Radio Gemini”, in the Algarve, with a concert next Saturday, June 16, at 21 pm, at the Cine-Teatro Louletano.
In this concert, the musician «promises to transport the audience to surprising musical environments», says Câmara de Loulé.
“Get Up” and “Oh, My Heart” are the themes that, to date, David Fonseca has revealed, to which are added “C'est Pas Fini”, a dream pop song in French, the electronics of “Tell Me Something I Dont't Know” or “Anyone Can Do It”.
“Radio Gemini” follows the concept of a radio program or playlist and was born “from the boredom of travelling”, as David Fonseca took advantage of them to, with a synthesizer with a built-in four-track recorder, record all the ideas that came to him.
This album, says the critic, is "energetic and elastic, featuring a good collection of singles and several experiences that speak well of David Fonseca's eternal curiosity."
And for those who tune into this “Radio Gemini” you can be sure that you'll also have access to many singsong songs, sweet ones like “Lullaby” or more brusque themes like “Slopy Kisses”.
David Fonseca's activity has also developed with a strong performative component on national and international stages, always surprising in terms of plasticity. Their live performances are memorable for all who watch them and their songs have long been representative of the most important music produced.
