The Baixo Alentejo Museum Network received the “Partnership” award in the 2018 edition of the Portuguese Association of Museums (APOM) Awards, in recognition of the excellent work that technicians from the various municipal museums have developed over the ten years of partnership.
The delivery of the APOM 2018 awards took place this Friday, the 25th of May, at the Museu dos Coches, in Lisbon. Among the awardees were also two Algarve museums.
The Museu Metalúrgica Duarte Ferreira, in Tramagal, in Abrantes, was considered the Best Museum of the Year.
A recognition for the excellent work that the technicians of the various municipal museums have developed, within the scope of the ten-year partnership.
A Baixo Alentejo Museum Network integrates the museums of Aljustrel, Almodôvar, Alvito, Beja, Castro Verde, Cuba, Ferreira do Alentejo, Mértola, Moura, Ourique, Serpa and Vidigueira.
