Carlos Farinha, one of the oldest sports journalists in the Algarve and one of the voices of regional football radio, died this Friday, aged 71.

Carlos Farinha's funeral will take place tomorrow, Saturday, at 15:00 pm, at the Igreja Matriz in Portimão, the place where the body will be veiled from 18:00 pm today.

Over many years, he collaborated with national newspapers, namely the Record, but also regional ones, with articles on Algarve football.

More recently, and after he retired, he was more connected to the radio, namely to Fóia, for which he used to report on league matches.
