Fusos – Artistic Fusions Festival returns from the 1st to the 3rd of June to Alte, in the municipality of Loulé, and will feature the participation of António Zambujo and Jacinto Lucas Pires.

This year, the festival's meeting points are between music and literature, between painting and dance, and between music and painting.

Innovative projects and intentional creations for this concept fill an eclectic poster in the various artistic approaches that extends to the seven stages throughout the village (Fonte Grande, Fonte Pequena, Museum Center, Casa do Povo, Horta das Artes, Professional School and Queda do Vigário ), on an itinerary behind Alte's Wanderer, a sound sculpture that runs between stages and where everyone can play on the various instruments incorporated.

The first day, being Children's Day, begins to think about younger people, with the premiere of the film “Tomorrow was yesterday”, a documentary that includes the participation of children from elementary school in Alte. This is followed by science activities with the Centro Ciência Viva do Algarve, the inauguration of the exhibition “Perspectivas de Alte”, with representatives from the five continents showing their visions of Alte.

At night, it starts with the juggling and new circus of “The Gentlemad” and has a strong moment when it joins António Zambujo on stage with writer Jacinto Lucas Pires for a fusion between literature and music. The first day ends with the sound of DJ António Pires.

On the second day, there is theater with the ironic and hilarious play “O Lobo Vermelho”, a satire on the imagination surrounding the history of Little Red Riding Hood.

This is followed by “Telamine”, a performance in which the artist Menau paints a picture with a brush emitting sound, accompanied by instruments by Paulo Machado. “Maestro d'Água” is a concert with several musicians inside Fonte Pequena, while “Fado Liquid” combines José Alegre's Portuguese guitar with the sound of the surrounding water.

At night, “Wings of Dreams” is a “fantastic visual illusion of dance combined with painting with Alice Duarte inside a giant canvas, followed by the unstoppable party of the Kumpania Algazarra”, says the organization.

Everything closes on Saturday with Discosauro.

On Sunday there is, in turn, the release of the Migna Mala album, with the screening of the film from the album, and lots of dancing, first with a workshop by the Grupo de Danças Tradicional da Juventude Altense in Alte and “Segue o Baile”, later with the traditional European dances of Pelivento.

Closing is “Fusada”, on a route to the Queda do Vigário that welcomes Luís Peixoto with his electronic folk to close the festival “in one of the most beautiful places in the whole Algarve”.

All events are free to enter.

Fusos is a Fungo Azul organization with the support of the Municipality of Loulé and the Alte Parish Council.
