Prime Minister António Costa will attend the concert in honor of Carlos do Carmo, this Saturday, from 21:30 pm, in Lagoa, found the Sul Informação. The concert takes place on the same day that the Municipal Auditorium of this city will be named after the fado singer, in a ceremony scheduled for 17:00.

António Costa has been in the Algarve since this Friday, where, in Portimão, he presents his re-candidacy for General Secretary of the Socialist Party. The meeting with PS militants takes place at the Portimão Museum and is the kick-off of the secretary general's campaign for the party's internal elections, which will take place on 12 May.

Tomorrow, Saturday, António Costa was even scheduled to attend the ceremony in which Carlos do Carmo will give his name to the Municipal Auditorium of Lagoa. But, even without official confirmation "for security reasons", everything indicates that the prime minister will only be able to be present at the concert at night.

In this show in homage to Carlos do Carmo, other great names in Portuguese music, friends of the artist, participate: Camané, Paulo de Carvalho, Cristina Branco or Marco Rodrigues.
