António Costa will be in Portimão this Friday to present his re-candidacy for secretary general of the Socialist Party. The meeting with PS militants, scheduled for 18:30 pm, at the Portimão Museum, is the kick-off of the current prime minister's campaign for the party's internal elections, which will take place on May 12th.

At the meeting with Algarvian PS militants, António Costa will speak about the motion “Geração 20/30”, of which he is the first subscriber and which will be presented for discussion at the XXII National Congress of this party, which will take place on the 25th, 26th and May 27, at Batalha.

The session in Portimão takes place after the candidate for the leadership of the PS has promoted a national meeting in Torres Novas, where he collected «contributions from all the comrades», to complete the motion he will present.

This will be the program that António Costa will present on his trip to the Algarve.
