Portimonense drew 1-1 with Vitória, in a game played this Friday, in Setúbal. The Algarve soon found themselves at a disadvantage, but managed to equalize the game in the first half, guaranteeing another point that allows them, for now, to isolate themselves in 9th place in the I League.

The 0-0 was undone after just minutes of play, when André Pereira signed a great goal and put Vitória ahead. The Sadinos forward shot strong and placed, left-footed, from outside the area with no chance of defense for the Algarve goalkeeper Ricardo Ferreira.

The early goal of the sadinos led Portimonense to the front and the tie was not long in coming. In the 16th minute, Nakajima showed, once again, why he deserved the confidence of the Japanese coach and your first call to the Japanese main team, while serving, in a masterful way, Dener, who shot Cristiano's goal is headed in, who can't do anything to save the shot.

The game was alive and both teams were looking to reach the opposing goal. Thus, there were opportunities for both sides in the twenty minutes that followed, with the pace of the game fading in the final stretch, before the break.

In the second half, Vitória started better and managed to create several scoring opportunities. Portimonense defended and was even pushed "to the ropes" by the home team, but managed to sustain the momentum of the Sadians.

Before the end of the match, the Algarvians still had to cause a lot of chills to the fans from Setubal, with a sequence of good opportunities, which only failed to result in a goal due to three excellent interventions by Cristiano.

With this draw, Portimonense now has 31 points in the championship, when 27 rounds have been played, and remains, with condition, in the 9th position of the I League.
