The Intermarché de Alvor store reopened yesterday, Friday, after being the target of expansion works that cost around one million euros.

The intervention increased the area of this commercial surface to 568 square meters, which will allow the introduction of new services and the creation of eight new jobs. Thus, this store will have a total of 27 employees.

The changes included the creation of a new cafeteria service, as well as the complete renovation of the bakery, greengrocer and take-away sections.

“The store that is now reopening is a bigger store, with more services, which will allow our customers to improve their shopping experience. At the base of this investment is the premise that governs us every day: responding to the needs of everyone who visits us with the best products at the best prices», guaranteed Franck Santemarie, manager of the Intermarché de Alvor store.

This relaunch of the store will be accompanied by several initiatives, namely the distribution of apples from the Origens Program, gift vouchers and promotional actions in the store.

«On the 24th, we will also receive the Algarve chef Augusto Lima at our store, who will give a showcooking that everyone will be able to watch for free», added Franck Santemarie.
