“Can anyone tell me if my hat is on correctly?”. The question serves as the theme for the play by the performing arts association Folha de Medronho, which takes place on the stage of the Cine-Teatro Louletano tomorrow, Thursday, March 29, at 21:30 pm.

The show is part of the “SCENARIOS – XIII Theater Exhibition of the Municipality of Loulé”. The play is based on texts by Karl Valentin and Pedro Malaquias, staged by João de Mello Alvim and produced and performed by Alexandra Diogo.

Sara Mendes Vicente is responsible for production assistance and vocal support, with Martim Santos responsible for sound design, design and communication, as well as Rafael Guerreiro for communication assistance.

The play revolves around the following plot: alone on stage and in life, having as interlocutor several pets, a cleaning woman, or assistant hygiene and cleaning technician, reflects aloud on what she sees and hears in the small worlds where your daily life is consumed.

The narrative does not follow logic. These are thoughts released aloud: a parade of short stories that build a life, bittersweet pieces of a world that spins between cruelty, sarcasm and nonsense.

This is a show that doesn't want to dictate a moral, but it doesn't pretend to be amoral either. «With so much proclaimed morality that enters our eyes and ears on a daily basis, only to be cut into pieces, the best thing is for the spectator to choose the hat he is interested in and ask: “Can anyone tell me if my hat is on correctly? ””, reads the synopsis.

The play has the support of the Municipality of Loulé/Cine-Teatro Louletano, the House of Culture of Loulé and ACTA – Algarve Theater Company.

The show lasts 55 minutes, is aimed at people over 12 and tickets, which can be purchased here, cost 5 euros per person, no discounts apply.
