Algarvian Cláudia Neto, captain of the women's soccer team, was the best player in the Algarve Cup, which ended this Wednesday, with the victory shared between the Netherlands and Sweden.

Cláudia Neto received the award for best player in the tournament, in a vote carried out by the 12 selectors of the participating teams. The captain of Team Quinas received five votes, with Sam Kerr taking second place in the poll with four. Diana Silva, with one vote, completed the podium.
