A 17-year-old young man was arrested by the GNR this Thursday, 4 January, suspected of having broken into two houses, in Quarteira and Vilamoura (Loulé). 

The detainee is also indicted for the crimes of theft, possession of a prohibited weapon, theft of a motor vehicle and driving without a license.

«After the news of the occurrence of two thefts inside the residence in the town of Vilamoura, the GNR immediately carried out a police operation to locate the perpetrator, which enabled the military to locate and intercept a motorcycle, also stolen, where it was being carried out. transport the suspect», says the GNR.

The guard also seized three gold wires, a mobile phone, a tablets, clothes and 213 euros. At the time of arrest, the suspect was in possession of an electric weapon and a cap to hide his identity.

"The individual does not have a legal license to drive and is suspected of having carried out, in recent weeks, two robberies at home and several thefts, in the localities of Quarteira and Vilamoura, using the seized electric weapon", concludes the GNR.
