A man and four women, aged between 25 and 35, were arrested by the GNR this Thursday, for thefts inside stores in Albufeira.
As explained by the GNR, following a complaint, "and after taking steps in establishments targeted for theft, it was possible to locate and recognize the suspects in the car park of another large commercial area in that city".
The GNR recovered "dozens of stolen objects with a commercial value exceeding 2 euros, including cosmetics, clothing and watches."
The suspects "used aluminum-lined bags in order to prevent the triggering of store alarms", adds the Territorial Command of Faro in a statement.
