Around 400 swimmers from more than 50 national and foreign clubs will participate in the IV International Swimming Meeting of the Algarve, which will take place on November 11th and 12th, at the Sports Complex of Vila Real de Santo António.
According to the Chamber of VRSA, the competition, which takes place in Municipal Swimming Pools, will bring together, "in just one weekend, the best athletes in the sport."
According to the municipality, they will participate in the meeting clubs such as Sporting Clube de Portugal, Sport Lisboa and Benfica, Sport Algés and Dafundo or Portinado and, at the international level, «the presence of the Spanish swimming clubs Mairena Aljarafe, Motril and Huelva stands out, adding the participation of Andalusian Swimming Federation and the Imolanuoto Ass. Sport Dilettantist of Italy».
The Algarve International Swimming Meeting is part of the European Swimming League calendar and the National Swimming calendar, being organized by the Algarve Swimming Association and the VRSA Municipal Council.
