Registration for exhibitors interested in participating in the “Paderne Medieval”, which takes place from December 29th to January 1st, is now open.

«Staff with handicrafts, demonstrations of arts and crafts, and taverns with the best of regional cuisine will decorate the historic center of the parish», says the City Council of Albufeira.

The journey to the past is made through the recreation of the medieval market, which extends along the narrow alleys of the parish, invaded for four days by smells and flavors from gastronomic delicacies, the representation of arts and crafts and various performances alluding to the time .

The high point of the event is set for January 1st, with a historic procession depicting the ceremony of handing over the Donation Letter from the Castle of Paderne, by D. Dinis, to the Order of Avis.

Public and private entities from the parish of Paderne (primarily) and from the rest of the municipality can participate as exhibitors. The organization also foresees the possibility of accepting entries from exhibitors from outside the municipality, in case all available spaces are not occupied.

Registration is already taking place at the Parish Council of Paderne, for local residents, and at the Division of Tourism and Economic and Cultural Development, on the 3rd floor of the Paços do Concelho building, for other people.

Registration must be made in a specific form, which will be accompanied by photographs of the commercial products or services at the event. You can fill in the registration forms here e here

The “Paderne Medieval” is an initiative carried out by the Municipality of Albufeira, in partnership with the Parish Council of Paderne and the town's Casa do Povo.
